Mrs. Xieshu Wang

Dr. Xieshu Wang is an International Business Consultant specializing in China–Europe cross-border transactions, China market entry, and international investments, with extensive experience in private equity, M&A advisory, due diligence, and strategic consulting.

She collaborates with Arnone & Sicomo – International Law Firm, where she plays a key role in supporting the Firm in assisting Chinese clients and international investors seeking legal assistance in Italy. In this context, she contributes to the management of Italy–China cross-border legal matters, facilitates communication with Chinese-speaking clients, and supports the development of international business opportunities.

Dr. Wang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Finance (Merit Scholarship) from Sichuan University (China, 2005). She continued her academic path in Europe, obtaining a Degree in International Business Administration from Montpellier Business School (2006). In 2009, she completed a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering and Tax Strategy at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and in 2015 she earned a PhD in Economics (Private Equity in China) from Université Paris 13 Sorbonne Paris Cité, developing a strong specialization in Chinese financial markets, foreign direct investment (FDI), and cross-border investment strategies.

She began her career at CDH Investments, one of the leading private equity firms in China, where she gained extensive experience in financial analysis, due diligence, company valuation, and investment strategy. She later worked as a Financial Analyst at CEL Partners, further strengthening her expertise in China–Europe M&A transactions and cross-border investments.

Alongside her work in finance, Dr. Wang has developed significant experience in international business consulting and legal support for foreign investors. In Paris, she worked with Novagraaf France, focusing on China market expansion and intellectual property (IP) strategy. She also contributed to projects with Pharos Consulting, supporting initiatives aimed at attracting foreign investment into Europe.

In 2014, she acted as a consultant for China market development at Fidal Innovation (IP Trust), and in 2015 she collaborated with Eurosia (EU Business Avenues), working on M&A advisory, investment consulting, and EU–China business partnerships.

Between 2016 and 2017, she worked in London with OEEC – Observatory of Emerging Economies Consulting Group, participating in strategic consulting projects for multinational companies. Since 2016, she has also been an Associate Researcher at The Bridge Tank, contributing to research on green finance, renewable energy, and emerging markets.

Today, within Arnone & Sicomo, Dr. Wang supports the Firm in assisting Chinese investors in Italy, international companies, and Chinese-speaking clients in navigating both the Italian legal system and business environment. She plays a crucial role in bridging cultural and legal differences, ensuring effective communication and facilitating cross-border transactions between Italy and China.
