Born in 1986 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Jamila earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Law from Qafqaz University in 2004. Demonstrating a strong interest in international relations and European legal systems, she pursued a Master’s in European Studies at the University of Siena in 2017.

During her studies, she participated in the prestigious Erasmus Program at Sciences Po Lille, France (2018–2019), specializing in diplomacy and international legal frameworks, and in 2021 she completed her thesis, “Sustainable Development Goals and Trading”, connecting legal studies with contemporary global challenges.

Professional Experience:

• Corporate Law & Management: From 2011 to 2014, Jamila worked at Synergy Group OJSC (32 LLCs), initially as a Corporate Lawyer and later as General Clerical Manager, gaining extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance, and international client relations.

• Civil & Family Law: Practiced as a civil and family law attorney (2014–2016), providing tailored legal solutions to domestic and international clients.

• Junior Legal Advisor: At FINCA Azerbaijan in 2017, advising on corporate compliance and transactional matters.

• International Internship: Erasmus internship at AIAEM NGO, Madrid, Spain (2019–2020), providing corporate legal support for strategic expansion and cross-border operations.

• Construction & Infrastructure Projects: Managed contracts and legal documentation for major projects including Galaalti Hotel & Spa, Fame Tower Baku, and Excelsior Hotel Shamkir, with responsibilities such as:
