Jamila Namazli

Jamila Namazli was born in 1986 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

She pursued her bachelor’s degree in International Law at “Qafqaz University”, graduating in 2004. Demonstrating a keen interest in International Relations, she enrolled in the “University of Siena”'s Master's Program in European Studies in 2017.

During her studies, she participated in the prestigious Erasmus Program at Sciences Po Lille in France “International Relations“ study Program from 2018 to 2019, enhancing her diplomatic knowledge.
In 2021, she completed her master's thesis on "Sustainable Development Goals and Trading," aligning her academic pursuits with contemporary global challenges.

Jamila began her professional career at “Synergy Group” OJSC which were included 32 LLM companis from 2011 to 2014, gaining valuable experience as a Corporate Lawyer and later being promoted to General Clerical Manager. She further expanded her expertise by working as an Advocate in Family and Civil Law (2014-2016) before serving as a Junior Legal Advisor at FINCA Azerbaijan in 2017.

Her international exposure continued with an Erasmus internship at “AIAEM “ NGO in Madrid, Spain, from 2019 to 2020, where she operated as a corporate lawyer focusing on strategic development plans for expanding corporate entities.

Throughout her career, Jamila has worked on significant projects within the construction, including the management of contracts and legal documentation for prominent establishments such as “Galaalti Hotel & Spa” and “Fame Tower” Baku and “Excelsior Hotel Shamkir “ . Her responsibilities included:
• Responding to legal inquiries from international clients.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts in multiple languages.
• Managing legal restructurings and financing operations.
• Applying FIDIC principles to large-scale construction projects.
• Negotiating vendor agreements ensuring strong legal protections.
