Xieshu Wang

Xieshu graduated at the University of Sichuan (Chengdu, China) in 2005 with an International Finance Degree.

In 2006 she graduated in International Business Administration at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Montpellier.

In 2009 Xieshu obtained a Master2 in Financial Engineering and Tax Strategy at the Université Paris 1, Pantheon-Sorbonne.

Finally, in 2015 she obtained her PhD in Economic Sciences (Private Equity in China) at the Université Paris 13, Sorbonne Paris Cité.

Thanks to the skills and abilities gained, Xieshu in 2006 began her career as a trainee at CDH Investments, one of the largest alternative fund management institutions in China that manages over $ 16 billion in capital. In this context he had the opportunity to develop his skills in the field of financial analysis, mainly dealing with industrial research and the analysis of company profiles, drafting of presentations for potential investments, account analysis, financial evaluation of companies according to the benchmarking model due-diligence operations. In a similar experience in 2010, he worked as a financial analyst at CEL Partners, a French private equity firm operating in China.

In 2008, in Paris, she played the role of international development assistant (internship) at Novagraaf France, a large European consultancy group for the management and strategy of intellectual property, development of strategic development plans for the expansion of the corporate group in China.

From 2012 to 2013 she was a consultant at Pharos Education and Culture Consulting, in charge of assisting the City Council of Paris West in the Business Development Project in Hauts-de-Seine, aimed at identifying and attracting foreign companies to invest and build plants on its territory.

In 2014 Xieshu was a development consultant for the Chinese market at Fidal Innovation (IP Trust), a French consultancy company for the management of intellectual property dealing with international development.

In 2015 she was associated with Eurosia, a European service agency and participant in the EU Business Avenues project, which works in engineering, IT, sourcing and investment advice, dealing with the identification of collaboration prospects in the fields of business consulting, investments and M&A in China and Asia in general.

In the years 2016 - 2017 Xieshu worked as a consultant at the Observatory of Emerging Economies Consulting Group (OEEC) in London, working on various strategic consultancy projects for large international groups.

Since August 2016 she has been collaborating as associate researcher at The Bridge Tank, an NGO and think tank present in Asia, Africa and Europe, which is dedicated to the growing role of emerging countries in global change. In this role he is responsible for promoting the creation of partnerships, the coordination of research projects, the production of reports and newsletters, participation in research on renewable energy, green bonds and electric machines.

In addition, Xieshu is an Independent Consultant for companies that need to develop in the markets of Europe, Asia, the Middle East or Africa.

In this role she mainly deals with:

- Market intelligence and competitor analysis: target customers, data analysis, market evolution and trend, value chain, distribution, profit margin;

- Propose business strategies, collaboration and partnership projects, marketing action, develop the best commercial approaches for each company;

- Brokerage for industrial investment projects;

- Drafting and translation of key documents in Chinese, English, French and Italian;

- Assistance in the organization and reception of important foreign customers or investors;

- Assistance for international fairs and events.

Chinese native speaker, Xieshu is fluent in French, English and Italian.
